What do you want in your life?
I am sure you would say a satisfied life first then successful life.
And the right mentor is always necessary to make it happen.
How do you identify the right mentor? — Only if you are wise enough to identify one when you come across.
And how do you get that wisdom to identify? — When you have the right teacher.
Even if your teacher can’t be the mentor for your life, they play a crucial role in giving you the wisdom to understand what is good for you.
On this teachers day, I am dedicating this space to recollect and share about some of the teachers who have had an impact on my life in some situations.
Today, I can’t cover everyone but stay tuned to this space, I will add more lessons I learnt from them.
The Zeroth Teacher
The first teacher is life. You remember others saying the mother is the first teacher. If you bought that, then I would give the zeroth position to life in teachers.
You can’t identify your first teacher and they have a hard time moulding you. The same is true with life. Many die without realising that life is a teacher and won’t take the lessons from it.
You might say, I have considered my experiences and took decisions in my life. — To defend me.
However, my question is, “are your decisions based on fears and limiting beliefs?” — If the answer is “yes.” I am sorry to say that you haven’t taken the lessons, dear!
The reason is life is the best and most generous teacher. Its laws are universal and help you reach your full potential.
And you can never reach your full potential if fears are the dominating factors behind your decisions.
If I were to describe life as a teacher, I will never fall short on the words. So I am putting a comma here until I expand this further in the future.
Some Lessons I Learnt From Teachers
- Just because teachers don’t punish you for your mischievous stuff, it doesn’t mean they didn’t find you.
- They will understand your mistakes and give a gentle warning to make your life easier.
- A good teacher shares different life experiences or stories to prepare you for life.
- Teachers give the toughest problems to only the best students. You can relate this with “king gives toughest battles to only his best soldiers.” The same is true for life.
- The best way to get the maximum benefit of a teacher is being more disciplined and being an action taker.
Etc. — It is the End of Thinking Capacity. — Not forever, but for now. So, I am going to share more on this space when the time comes.
Finally, I would love to wish the teacher inside you a very happy teachers day!
