Is One CTA Applies for Only Sales Pages or Everywhere?

CTA – Call to Action. You are very familiar with this if you are a digital marketer. If you are a non-digital marketer, let me tell you what it means. It is nothing but an end goal towards which you lead a website visitor.

What if I tell you it applies to even life and the way you operate things?

Let me show you a connection between CTA, Attitude and Success through failures.

Let’s start with the purpose of using CTA.

Why Do We Have to Use One CTA in General?

Have you ever read sales pages? They have only one CTA, and the entire message directs the visitor towards taking that action. The reason behind this is simple. If you don’t give the readers many options, it will be clear for your visitors regarding what action to take.

The clear it is to the visitors, the more conversions you can get.

The more conversions you get, the more successful your campaigns will be.

The more successful your campaigns are, the more people you can impact and serve. And it is directly proportional to the money you can make.

Let’s draw a connection between the CTA and Success.

How is CTA Connected to Success?

Let’s consider you as a website visitor and your options as CTAs. Let’s say you have CTAs like as on the homepage. Many options and no clear direction to take action.

All of those CTAs are to direct to different main pages on the website. — Even the different options you have are for some specific important outcome. Moreover, each CTA is crucial as you want all of those outcomes.

However, focusing on all of them leads to more confusion on the execution part. And also, if you fail, it is tough to find the reason for failure and optimise.

Shall we take the help of the right attitude to solve this problem?

What Happens When You Connect Right Attitude to It?

You must know that when you chase two rabbits, you might end up catching none.

I won’t say that you can avoid failure by having the right attitude and going with one CTA (option). However, when you focus only on one option rather than many, it is easy to optimise the conversions.

You can relate it with learning from your mistakes and improving.

When you have the right attitude, you focus on one objective at a time. — Improve it— Then focus on the next goal and repeat the process.

Let me share a small story of one of my mentors. You must be aware of Digital Deepak.

The Story of Learn Today

Deepak is the master of automation. We thought he stopped working in the service sector and shifted to edtech after knowing the different internships in the pipeline.

We later understood that he hadn’t stopped the service sector (Pixel Track), but the edtech company (Learn Today) is for making more people industry-ready. — So that he can scale up his agency. Prior, he used to handle courses creation and running Pixel Track at the same time.

What do you want more info on the importance of focusing on one objective at a time?

Final Thoughts

I see people who are stuck due to focusing on different objectives at the beginning of their journey. I learnt a simple funda. — Work on one thing at a time, one goal, one funnel, one task. — Optimise it and focus on the next step and integrate both of them. All of this is possible by having the right attitude and focusing on one CTA at a time.

What do you think?
