7 Types of People You Should Stay Away From

by | Sep 18, 2021 | Mindset | 2 comments

You must be remembering other say, “you are the average of five people you hang around with.” Then do you know the different types of people you should stay away from?

You might say, what is the need for it? And you may support your statement saying, “if I focus on hanging out with people who help me grow that would be better.”

However, when you are not putting conscious effort, you might hang out with the wrong people.

So let’s talk about them in this post.

Type 1: They Always Want to Impress People

In this category, people always try to impress others. So they always focus on look rich, instead of being rich, or try to portrait or share different stuff to control the way others look at them. They can only sustain themselves till others don’t find about their lies.

Type 2: They Take Big Names

Whenever a situation arises, they brag that they know big players. You go to a restaurant, and they keep bragging that the owner is their friend. However, when you need any recommendation, you can’t find them as they don’t know any such people. — Because they do all this to control others.

If a person knows any influential person, they won’t brag, but they nurture those relationships.

Type 3: They Create a Gang of People and Always Hang out With Them

Do you watch movies? In some pictures, the hero always hangs out with his small gang, who are always free. You can relate to this set of people that way.

People without any purpose only hang out more that way. And you can imagine how it is going to be if a person hangs out with such people.

However, if people who are hanging around work on the same project, it’s a different story.

Type 4: People Focused On Brand Name Than The Quality

They aim to look rich, so they focus on brands rather than quality. With the same intent, they buy fake branded products without looking at the comfort.

Real rich people always prioritise comfort and quality. So they buy stuff from only some premium brands.

Type 5: Don’t have savings or investments or future plans

This set of people always spend lavishly on buying stuff and do unwanted expenses. If any unexpected event happens, they wouldn’t be in a situation of facing them. If they win a lottery or get a lumpsum amount at once, they don’t need much time to evaporate that money.

However, the rich always focus on diversifying their money to create multiple streams of income. And they are prepared to face the unexpected as well.

Type 6: They All Talk And No Work

Whenever you meet them, they speak about big stuff and big plans. They are also great motivational speakers until you ask about what they are doing in life. They spend more energy in bragging and put no effort into the work.

However, the rich won’t speak much and always focus on the work instead.

Type 7: They Take Loan to Buy Liabilities

Rich people take loans to build assets. Mukesh Ambani took a loan to start Jio. Rich takes loans as they can create solid cashflows and profits with it.

However, the poor take the loan to buy the stuff they can’t afford. In financial terms, if you can’t buy anything twice at a time, it means you can’t afford it.

I have been in the first category for some part of my life and stopped being that guy now.

Which type of people is in your circle? Do share in the comments to let others know.
