Are you stuck while making decisions?
Do the options overwhelm you?
But are you good at helping in solving your friends’ problems?
You might be great at the level of understanding, but you might be stuck most of the times.
Let’s decode the reasons.
More attachment to your ego
One of the problems with us, humans, is we think our problems are unique.
I know a physically challenged guy, but he is a warrior with never giving up attitude.
When he has many reasons to give up and be dependent on someone throughout his life, he didn’t choose it.
But he is doing everything in his control to become independent. His will is strong so are the struggles to overcome.
From my personal experience, I understood that,
“The greater your strengths are, so are the weaknesses to overcome.”
Yes, he doesn’t have a great story like Nick Vujicic, but he is writing his story.
Here the real issue is not having the problem, but thinking that only you have such a problem.
It is an outcome of too much attachment to your ego, your false self born from your past.
You will be able to make better decisions when you come out of your ego.
That is the reason he chose to be a warrior where the majority consider to be a victim.
Do you still doubt this?
I will give you an example.
How many times have you helped your friends when they are stuck while taking decisions?
Hell lot of times, I can understand.
Haven’t you ever thought about the reasons?
I will tell you.
When your friend comes up with a problem, you see the whole situation from the outside.
You observe everything like the third person.
So, the situations of your friend don’t affect you. For the same reason, you’ll be at peace. So you can see the solution.
Have you ever seen your reflection in boiling water?
No, you can’t see because of the disturbance.
Due to this, even though the solution is visible in front of your friends, they can’t see it, but you can.
Due to the same attachment, we tend to see the negative side more when it comes to ourselves.
So, my one suggestion is, take you out of the situation and observe as a third person.
Also, think about all your past achievements. It strengthens your belief when you are feeling low and helps you witness things.
Others can give better suggestion only when they can place themselves in your shoes.
PS: I am not an expert in this area and shared from my personal experience.
And I would like to know what you do to make decisions fast. If you found value in this, let me know by either clapping or commenting below.
See you tomorrow with another topic.
