Into the Mind of Selfless People

Have you ever observed selfless people? Some persons amaze us with their level of selflessness. I have seen self-centred as well as purely selfless people in my life. And I am dedicating today to throw light on the same. Let’s get started.

To understand altruistic people better, let’s acknowledge psychopaths better.

The Mind of Psychopaths

Psychopaths can’t read or recognise the signs of distress or problem. They are not insensitive to the people and their feelings. However, they can’t understand the pain of a person by looking at their face.

That is the reason they won’t be empathetic and aren’t worried about others. It is a mental condition due to which a person will be that way.

The experiences of a person during early childhood affects how that person turns out to be in his life.

Again it all depends on the way a person perceives the world. And selfless people are the opposite. We can go to the analogy between them after you know about selfless people.

Into the Mind of Selfless People

Selfless people can read the minds of others when they are going throw distress and are facing a problem. Whenever they see someone worry, they won’t mind getting into trouble to help that person. — Because their mind thinks that way.

What Makes a Person either Altruistic or Psychopath?

Let’s take an example of 2 persons in my life. Let’s say Ajay and Ram (Names are changed). Both are good friends and became friends due to being in the same profession. Ajay always gets inspired by the actions of Ram and his selfless nature. — and the way he nurtures his team. Yes, Ram is a great person and knows how to bring the best out of anyone.

Both faced some incidents which are unexpected and broke them down.

Some Incidents that Broke Ram Down

A person who has to guide and safeguard in difficult situations betrayed Ram. He disconnected Ram from his people and for his selfish needs. However, it didn’t break Ram down completely. — He started focusing on progressing in his life by diverting his energy towards growth. But his selfish friend didn’t let Ram grow even in that way and created a mess in Ram’s life.

Finally, Ram became like a rock. — disconnected from the world — travelled a lot — and entered a new job in a new place. He hasn’t shared his bad experiences with anyone and created a shell in his life with limited people and not bothered about anyone.

Incidents Ajay Faced

Ajay is a person who doesn’t know much about the outside world. He always takes care of his work and helps his friends in need if it is in his capacity. In the same process, helping a close friend whom he trusted with everything turned his life upside down. Every time Ajay calculates the risk with smaller things to trust the other persons with bigger things.

But in the case of his best buddy, he didn’t do all this stuff and directly went to doing a big help, with money, beyond his capacity as Ajay wasn’t aware that his friend was already in a sinking boat with a lot of debts.

One fine day his friend betrayed Ajay. Also, he badmouthed Ajay framing the story in such a way that Ajay destroyed his life. He made the life of Ajay difficult. However, Ajay also witnessed some selfless people, and because of that, he never lost his belief in humanity and remained selfless in his life.

The irony is, Ajay learnt many things from Ram regarding being selfless. But Ram became cold whereas, Ajay became a better person and more selfless. It is because of the way he interpreted situations in his life and the way he saw them.

Final Thoughts

It is purely the way a person sees the world that shapes the person who he is. Just because someone is bad or insensitive, you can’t come to conclusions directly. Sometimes, all they need is a bit more love and some help to see the world better than it is.
