Life Lesson I learnt from Maths!

You must be thinking, what will Abhinay share?

Is he going to share about trigonometry?

Or is he going to share how the progression formula helped him calculating the increase in cash flow in the economy?

I was thinking about what to write about today. And I saw the response of one of my friends on one of my articles.

And my reply to her is the inspiration for my article today.

I know, some people are scared of maths.

I even saw some of my students taking science as they are scared of Maths. — Consider this group as Group A

Some students excel in the same subject. — Consider this group as Group B

What do you think is the reason?

I also saw one person who doesn’t even know tables till the 10th Class.

But he turned out to be the best in the subject. (Yes, this is about an actual person, and he got placed in Wipro as well)

If I saw a guy, then there will be a lot of unknown persons as well. — Let’s consider them as Group C

What do you think is the reason for such contrast between different individuals?

I will tell you from my interpretation.

Group A might be overthinking with a fixed mind that they can’t understand.

Group B must have followed the teacher and clarified their doubts.

Group C might have got an uninteresting teacher in the beginning. And luckily, they must have got a great teacher who nurtured them properly.

Group A:

There are people in your life who are in a good position or struggling.

But definitely, they will be striving inside to go to the next level.

But they don’t know-how which will be burying them deep inside.

However, they don’t know what is stopping them — Their fixed mind.

They also might be thinking to know it all before they step into anything new. — The sad truth is, you can’t understand anything completely unless you involve.

Group B:

Some people are in a good position while others are struggling.

If they fall in good hands, they will grow. But if they fall into the wrong hands, we can assume the things.

Group C:

There can be uninteresting presentations but not uninterested prospects.

It is true in their case. — Group C has a knack to do something, but their life changes when the right person enters their life.

Group B and Group C are not a matter of concern — When the right mentor enters into their life, they prosper.

But the concern is about Group A because the problem is in their mind.

Before we proceed to the solution, I would like to share one thing.

I love maths because it doesn’t require me to remember anything. — Yes, I have a poor memory😅.

Are you wondering how I could be good at maths with poor memory?

The reason is, I focus on one step at a time.

Yes, in maths knowing one step is enough, and the remaining will be taken care of by itself.

Consider everyone got a great mentor — Because without a mentor, we will be directionless.

If you are in Group A, All you need to do is introspect to find if your mental block is correct or not.

In most cases, it is not.

Then you need to focus on the next step.

Because:

Even the journey of 1000 miles starts with one step.

Even I was struck sometimes due to figuring out syndrome.

But I learnt about Sachin’s next ball theory from my mentor.

It means focusing on one step at a time, then you’ll reach your destination.

Do you like my interpretation?

I love to see your thoughts. Do you want me to write my perspective on anything else? Then share in the comments. I would love to share my standpoint on different things.

Disclaimer: This is just an example I have taken to convey my thoughts. It doesn’t have anything to do with people’s inclination towards maths😂
