Starting the blog and having it is crucial for personal branding. Even it is also my dream to have one and to put out my thoughts. And the journey of starting it is so exciting. And few made it possible for me to complete the first version by 12th June though there are many odds in between. So, I am taking this article as an opportunity to thank them.
Where shall I start?
Yes, questions are the best to start with.😅
What do you think is very important in a blog or website?
Yes, it is content, nothing but having blog posts. However, for the majority, there won’t be many articles when they launch their website. And I am very happy to have 23 articles and cornerstone content when I launched my blog.
How It All Started
Writing content consistently has been my aim since the lockdown started in 2020. I have also pledged that I am going to write every day and stopped in the middle twice. But, after enrolling on Digital Deepak’s Internship, I started writing regularly from 10th May, with some breaks on Deepak’s suggestion. I am very glad to start writing. It gave me more clarity over thoughts and helped me understand myself better.
I should have completed designing my blog by 28th May, but it was getting delayed. So I was focused on completing it by 12th June and launch it by sharing it with my friends through my WhatsApp status. However, my assignment for that week is to take a webinar on any topic of my choice. It gave me more push to complete by Sunday as my friends will be available only on weekends.
Some of the Friends to the Rescue to Starting the Blog
Some situations took most of the time that I was planning to complete the assignments and other tasks. And the pressure to complete is more. During that time, one of my friends became a saviour by designing my logo as she got to know my situation. I told her my purpose through the blog, and she designed a meaningful logo. I fell in love with it on looking, and her explanation attached me to it more. It also made me understand the keen understanding she has of all the minute details. It is evident to her focus while listening to the requirements. Her name is Kavitha Rajagopal who cares like an elder sister. Are you wondering about her identity? Slidopedia is the baby of her skill, it gives her one.
One more person is my partner in crime, he is Arun. He helped me with some photos editing, even though I haven’t asked him. I got a web developer and Digital Marketer in the tribe who helped me out when I was stuck with some design part. They are Dyanesh and Jeevan, respectively. Without them, the site look wouldn’t be how it is now.
Finally, I am very happy to know one person who is curious about what I do and wants to support me in my endeavour. He is the first one to join my tribe. His name is Ramanand Sai. People always ask me how I write such great content and articles. The flow and right usage of words are very important. Whenever I am stuck with words or the presentation of my thoughts through them, I contact him, and he always responds to me irrespective of his works. Very happy to find him in NIT Raipur, who is becoming younger as he is growing old. He is Mr Azharuddin, the PhD guy. I always wanted to give the credits Azharuddin deserves but finally got a chance today.
Closing Thoughts
There were challenges when I was working on starting the blog. But I found some of the beautiful souls who helped me in crystallising my idea. It is evident that if you are determined to do anything in life irrespective of the odds, life will send someone to help you achieve it. And Kavitha designing the logo was so magical. She is stuck with something, and I helped her out though I was super busy. And her generous heart made her come forward to design the logo to save me some time. It made me understand that if you keep adding value selflessly, life will give you what you want. It is also evident that life always blesses us by giving us what we deserve at every moment. Won’t you believe me? Then read the experience of my friend who is also on the same path of adding value to his audience.
