What I Learnt From my Niece & Kids Regarding Being Attractive

It’s my niece in the above pic. Isn’t she cute?😍

Let’s get started!

Kids are so cute and attractive. Even we are so cute and lovely when we are kids. But as we grow, some lose the charm while others retain it as they grow.

Do you know the reasons?

No, no, no. I am not talking about beauty but about being attractive.

Yes, both are different. Being attractive is not connected with external beauty but beyond it.

The reasons are many. Let’s look at a few.

  1. Kids are open-minded, and they are interested in us and our surroundings.
  2. They live in the moment.
  3. Kids always enjoy what they do.
  4. They are just like they are, no faking, no false pride, nothing.
  5. Kids are creative.

Let’s dive deep into them.

Kids see things as they are. They don’t have any preoccupied mind with presumptions. They look at everything with an open mind and keen interest. Yes, they are genuinely interested in knowing what we do and how we do it.

The lesson learnt here:

When you are open-minded and genuinely interested in others, you’ll be attractive.

Kids aren’t worried about their past or anxious about the future. They live in the moment. Let us consider an example. At least one of your friends must always be complaining, either due to anxiety or worry. I will leave the impression of a new person on such people, to your imagination.

Living in the moment

We can also say living in the moment is the state of flow. Attaining that flow is mentioned in the book IKIGAI that I’m reading now. I can’t go to that topic now. But my friend Kushagra wrote an article that will help you to get that flow. Ultimately you’ll start living in the moment if you practice following the steps mentioned in that article.

The second lesson is self-explanatory.

How many of you or your friends are enjoying their job? It’s okay with friends as we travelled with them for a long time. But if you are meeting a new person who is not enjoying what he does, will you enjoy their company? I am leaving this to your imagination.

I am sure you understood the takeaway from this section.

We always think that people admire those who know everything and tend to be that guy. But you know what? People respect those who admit what they don’t know. Some of my friends always say something they notice from a third party in their words, projecting themselves as the source.

The game is good until people notice such persons. What if the others get to know the facts? Why talk about others. If you encounter such a person, what will be your thoughts? How do you feel?

I have seen a person who always admits what he doesn’t know and convey that he’ll look into it. Do you know what happened to him? He is running a digital marketing agency serving global clientele successfully.

Don’t you believe me? Try practising not to fake for 90 days, and you’ll understand.

I don’t want to speak about kids being creative, as we all know about it, also the same, with creative people. — And they are attractive.

Creativity

You may think I am not creative. But my dear friend, when you do what you love, you will become one. And that separates you from the rest. For the same reason, people find you attractive.

Who doesn’t want to be attractive? But you won’t be one when you constantly focus on it and do something. As like you can’t win a game when you look at the scoreboard repeatedly while playing the game.

When you be like a kid and follow your heart and intuition, you’ll be attractive.

Most of these are not new for us. But I felt like reminding through this article from my personal experience.
